To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will make an assessment of the potential cost to local authorities of mandatory separate food waste collections in England.

The Government will set out details on our ambitious approach to food waste collections in the cross-government Resources and Waste Strategy. A regulatory impact assessment will be published alongside any future consultations on policy changes.
