To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what his policy is on public scrutiny of the International Maritime Organisation’s decision-making process.

Public access to documentation and meetings of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) is a topic currently being discussed at the IMO Council. The UK is actively taking part in these discussions and is fully supportive of the principle of more public access and transparency.
