To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many women are held in immigration detention in the UK.

The Home Office publish data on the number of people in detention as at the last day of each quarter, by sex. The latest data is available in table dt_11_q in the detention tables of Immigration statistics, year ending September 2018. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/758249/detention-sep-2018-tables.ods
