To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent discussions his Department has had with the Department for Housing, Communities and Local Government on restricting the number of fast food restaurants near schools.

There are ongoing discussions between officials in the Department and the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government on restricting the number of hot food takeaways near schools, including formal monthly and quarterly meetings as part of the governance of the childhood obesity programme.
