To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they expressed appreciation to the government of Turkey following the lifting of the state of emergency in that country in July.

​We welcomed the end of the state of emergency, and expressed the hope it would lead to normalisation and improved respect for fundamental freedoms in Turkey.
