To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment he has made of his Department’s compliance with data protection regulations and law in relation to DNA samples which were wrongly required to support immigration applications.
The Home Office is currently considering the possible data protection implications associated with the incorrect mandating of DNA information.
