To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what assessment he has made of the progress of the arbitration of legal claims made by the Government of Ukraine under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea relating to Russia’s military presence in the Sea of Azov.

The UK is aware of Ukraine’s legal action in relation to the Sea of Azov at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in the Hague. We understand that the arbitration is ongoing and, as such, it would not be appropriate to comment at this stage.
