To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, with reference to his Department's news story entitled Government funding boost for bus industry in drive to improve air quality, published in February 2018, how many buses have been retrofitted using funding from the Clean Bus Technology Fund.

The Clean Bus Technology Fund awarded £40 million of funding to 20 local authorities to retrofit 2768 buses to a minimum Euro VI standard. To date, 258 buses have been retrofitted using this funding.
