To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if he will make it his policy to protect all existing rights of citizens of other EU member states living in the UK in the event of the UK leaving the EU with no deal.

The Prime Minister and the Home Secretary have confirmed that in the event of no deal, all EU citizens resident in the UK by 29 March 2019 will be able to stay, their rights will be protected and they will be able to live their lives broadly as they do now.
