Ministry of Justice written question – answered on 12 September 2018.
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many prosecutions initiated by private third parties were brought to trial in the last five years; and how many of those prosecutions resulted in a conviction.
The information could only be provided at disproportionate cost. Data held centrally by the Ministry of Justice does not identify whether a prosecution is private.
