To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 23 July 2018 to Question 167151 on Disability Living Allowance: Appeals, what the timeframe is for the reduction in the waiting times to be achieved; and what recent assessment she has made of the potential level of reduction in waiting times.

Training is underway for the judicial office holders who have already been recruited to the Tribunal. Once this is completed we expect more cases to be listed, improving the throughput in the tribunal. We will continue to work closely with the judiciary to reduce waiting times including judicial consideration of whether a hearing should be expedited.
