To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the potential effect of the UK leaving the EU without a deal on the West Midlands.

We firmly believe it is in the interests of both the EU and the UK to strike a deal. That remains the goal on both sides and we are confident that this will be achieved.

The Government has confirmed that when we bring forward the vote on the final deal, we will ensure that Parliament is presented with the appropriate analysis to make an informed decision.

Given that we are yet to conclude this negotiation, it would not be practical or appropriate to set out the precise details of exactly how the government will analyse the final deal.
