To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how much money has been spent from the public purse on universal credit complaint resolution since that benefit was established.

The Department does not collect data solely in relation to the cost of Universal Credit complaint resolution.

The cost of resolving these complaints includes support costs, management and corporate overheads. These costs cannot be split out from overall Departmental spending, and therefore an amount spent on complaints is not readily available and could only be provided at disproportionate cost.
