To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, when his Department plans to publish its response to the consultation entitled Land Registry: moving operations to the private sector public consultation, published in March 2016; and if he will make a statement.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
