Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government written question – answered on 4 September 2018.
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what estimate he has made of the number of children in the London Borough of Havering who will be made homeless in 2018.
This Government is committed to ensuring everyone including children have a home and we are taking unprecedented action to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping.
We have committed £1.2 billion through to 2020 to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping and fundamentally transformed homeless service delivery through the changes we have made under the Homelessness Reduction Act, ensuring more people get the support they need at an early stage.
The Government publishes homelessness and rough sleeping statistics and the latest publication can be found at the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/homelessness-statistics.
