What steps his Department is taking to encourage greater collaboration between the police and fire services.

The Government is working with police and fire services to implement provisions in the Policing and Crime Act 2017 that enable collaboration to go further and faster, including the new statutory duty to collaborate and enabling PCCs to take on fire and rescue governance, where a local case exists.
