Home Office written question – answered at on 11 July 2018.
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if he will discuss with the Department of Health in Northern Ireland the conditions of the licence for Billy Caldwell to ensure he can receive medicinal cannabis without having to travel to Belfast.
This is a devolved matter for the Department of Health in Northern Ireland with whom we work collaboratively. Licence conditions can be individually tailored to fit an individual situation based on assessment of risk and in the interests of safeguarding those who are licensed or indirectly benefit from a licence.
