To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Earl Howe on 21 June (HL8674), whether 5 star officers and retired Heads of Service who were listed on the active list but not in Regular Service after 29 July 2014 were not treated in the same fashion with regard to long service and good conduct medals.

Long Service and Good Conduct Medals are struck for all Officers who were in Regular service on 29 July 2014, and who had served for 15 years from the date of attestation with good conduct.
