To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Education on promoting physical education as a GCSE subject in schools.

Ministers from the Department of Health and Social Care, the Department for Education, and Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport meet as part of the Ministerial School Sport Board. This meeting is used to discuss matters relating to children and young people’s participation in physical education, sport and physical activity.
