Foreign and Commonwealth Office written question – answered on 19th June 2018.
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what recent representations he has made to his Bahraini counterpart on the outcome of the trial which revoked the citizenship of 115 people and left some stateless.
The UK has concerns about the revocation of nationality when it renders a person stateless. We have raised this at a senior level with the Government of Bahrain and will continue to do so.
