In common with all House of Commons staff, all staff in Catering Services received an interim pay award of a 1% increase in salary with effect from 1 April 2018. This interim pay award was an early pay award for 2018–19 and its conditions included moving the pay date from 1 September to 1 April for each year from 1 April 2019. We are in negotiations with the unions for a second increase with effect from 1 September 2018.
