To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, how much was paid from the public purse to the al Saadi family in compensation for rendition and torture.

The final compensation figure to Mr Al Saadi and his family was £2.23 million. The settlement did not include any admission of liability.
