The UK is deeply concerned about the intensifying conflict in Karen state, including credible reports of human rights abuses and violations. DFID continues to monitor the evolving situation and are in discussions with partners regarding prospective funding for the internally displaced people affected. We will continue to urge all parties to abide by the National Ceasefire Agreement at every opportunity.
