The Government has made clear that this should be a country that works for everyone, ensuring the housing market works for all parts of our community. The recent race disparity audit has shown only 41 per cent of ethnic minority households are homeowners, compared to 68 per cent of White British households. We are undertaking further research to understand the underlying issues and work to provide solutions to help increase homeownership among BAME communities.
