To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of the 24 April to Question 136754, what the longest period is for a detainee to have been held; and how many and what proportion of released detainees were subsequently detained within (i) one month of their release and (ii) six months of their release.
The Home Office does not hold the information requested with regard to the proportion of released detainees who were subsequently detained within (i) one month of their release and (ii) six months of their release, in a reportable format. The information requested could only be supplied at disproportionate cost.
