To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what progress the Government has made on researching how new legislation might tackle the issue of unsafe pavement parking.
The Department for Transport is currently gathering evidence on the issue of pavement parking, including how it is addressed in legislation. This work is in its early stages, and we expect to be able to draw conclusions later this year.
