To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many councils charge for collecting garden waste for recycling.
The government does not hold this information centrally, but the latest data the Government has from the Waste and Resources Action Programme shows that 171 councils in England charged for collecting garden waste for recycling.
