To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what target his Department has set for the number of participations on the National Citizens Service programme for (a) 2018 and (b) 2017-18; and when the results will be published.

The target number of participants for the National Citizen Service programme in 2018 is ‘more than 100,000’. The results will be published in early 2019.

The 2017 target was 101,000 participants, and the National Citizen Service Trust achieved 99,179.
