Home Office written question – answered at on 22 March 2018.
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people who have not been convicted of a criminal offence are recorded on the Police National Database.
The Police National Database (PND) is an intelligence database which enables the sharing of intelligence on people, organisations, organised crime groups, objects, locations and events that have come to the attention of police. PND does not automatically record the conviction status of individuals.
