To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what recent discussions he has had with the Home Secretary on the merits of the introduction of minimum unit pricing for alcohol for the pub sector.

My Department has not held recent discussions with the Home Office on the merits of introducing minimum unit pricing, which remains under review. The Government will consider the evidence of its impact once it is available.
