To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they have made any assessment of the UK meeting the Sustainable Development Goal target of halving the number of road traffic fatalities by 2020.

The UK has one of the lowest road traffic fatality rates of all European countries, but we are not complacent. The British Road Safety Statement sets out the Government’s commitment to improve road safety further and reduce the number of people killed or injured on the roads every year and can be viewed on gov.uk and available in the libraries of the House.
