To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what information his Department holds on the number of people who travel to work by (a) car, (b) bus and (c) rail in (I) the West Midlands and (ii) Coventry.
The number of people who usually travelled to work by car, bus and rail in the West Midlands and Coventry in 2016 are given in the table below (based on the Labour Force Survey). The rail figure for Coventry cannot be estimated reliably due to insufficient sample size.
