To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, which organisations his Department consulted in preparation for the 25 Year Environment Plan.
In order to help develop the 25 Year Environment Plan, Defra has consulted a wide range of stakeholders and organisations from relevant sectors including environmental organisations, farming organisations, land management specialists, academics, representatives from major retailers, food producing organisations, house building companies, water companies, representatives from chemical industries, local authorities, other Government departments and the Devolved Administrations. In addition to these, it has worked closely with the Natural Capital Committee.
