To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 30 November 2017 to Question 116243, Home Office: Training, what process the Department uses to monitor the training record of caseworkers.
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 30 November 2017 to Question 116243, Home Office: Training, in what form the Department records information on the number of caseworkers who have completed Keeping Children Safe training.
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 30 November 2017 to Question 116243, Home Office: Training, for what reasons her Department records that information in a format that is not (a) reportable and (b) publishable.
Training records are maintained locally, by line managers, and nationally by training co-ordinators. Whilst these records detail the numbers and names of those trained they are separate to records that detail staff movements and who is in post. Therefore it is not possible to report on the numbers of caseworkers in post who undertook this training without a detailed manual check of multiple records.
