The eligibility criteria for technologies are published in advance of each Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction. The criteria include, but are not limited to, projects having obtained the relevant planning consents and connection agreements.

The next CfD auction for less established technologies is currently planned for spring 2019. The eligibility criteria for the next auction will be published in due course.
