To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what steps the Government is taking to ensure that funding disbursed to private sector organisations through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund provides a return to the public purse.

The Department will work closely with UK Research and Innovation to ensure that the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund is managed and evaluated effectively in order to support the industrial strategy and deliver maximum impact across the UK.
