To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what recent discussions she has had with officials from Europol on the progress of that organisation's investigations into possible North Korean involvement in the WannaCry cyber attack in May 2017; and what steps she is taking to support those investigations.

The investigation into the WannaCry cyber attack is ongoing. The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) assesses it is highly likely that North Korean actors known as the Lazarus Group were behind the attack. The NCSC and the National Crime Agency are working with international law enforcement and industry partners to find those responsible and protect victims.
