To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many and what proportion of non-UK armed forces personnel are currently on active service in the Royal Navy.

There were 560 (rounded to the nearest 10) non-UK nationality personnel in the Royal Navy and Royal Marines as at 1 April 2017. This represents 1.9% of the total trained strength.
