Foreign and Commonwealth Office written question – answered at on 17 October 2017.
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what information his Department holds on the number of UK nationals who visited North Korea in the most recent year for which figures are available.
Very few British people visit North Korea and those that do are usually part of an organised tour. Whilst we encourage British nationals living or visiting North Korea to inform the British Embassy of their travel plans, not all do so. As a result, accurate numbers are not available for any given year.
