‚ÄčOn 21 September, I met the Cambodian Foreign Minister, Prak Sokhonn, at the UN General Assembly. I raised our concerns regarding the political situation in the country, including Kem Sokha's arrest. The UK urges the Government of Cambodia to take immediate steps to ensure free, fair and credible elections next year. We call for Kem Sokha to be released so that fully participatory legitimate elections can take place.
