To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what proportion of household waste his Department expects England to recycle by 2030.

Defra has not prepared projections on the proportion of household waste expected to be recycled by 2030.

The Circular Economy Package is still under negotiation and no agreement has yet been reached on recycling targets. The UK is assessing the potential implications of the proposals.
