My Rt. Hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions has regular discussions with the Prime Minister and other Cabinet colleagues on a range of issues. The government’s position on this issue has been made clear in Parliament many times since 2015 when transitional arrangements were introduced as part of the 2011 Pensions Act. The Government will make no further changes to the policy in this area.
