The England Coast Path will be England’s newest national trail. When new coastal access rights commence, stretches become eligible for the same Natural England maintenance funding package that other English national trails receive. This funding also helps to support any necessary informal management measures to address nature conservation issues and action to reposition the route in the event of coastal erosion.
