Ministry of Defence written question – answered at on 18 July 2017.
Her Majesty's Government whether they have made any assessment of (1) the environmental impact, and (2) the impact on noise pollution of, raising of the cap on flights each year at RAF Northolt from 7,000 to 12,000.
As the increase in the self-imposed ceiling for the number of civilian aircraft movements remained within NATS Holdings' (formerly National Air Traffic Services) limits of 40 commercial movements per day, no new noise or pollution survey has been conducted.
