As set out in the Prime Minister’s letter to Donald Tusk triggering Article 50, the UK will withdraw from the Euratom Treaty when it leaves the EU. We look forward to discussing Euratom, along with a range of other issues, in the upcoming negotiations. On 13 July, the UK published our position paper on nuclear material and safeguards issues, and will be working through these issues in next week’s negotiating round.
