To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what plans his Department has to ensure that memorials located in the Stonehouse Barracks in Plymouth which are dedicated to Royal Marines who died serving their country will be preserved and protected.

The Ministry of Defence is aware of the significance of the memorials located in the Stonehouse Barracks in Plymouth.

The Department will work closely with the Local Authority and other statutory bodies throughout the process of the sale to ensure that the memorials are preserved and protected.
