As the Prime Minister has said, we want to build a truly Global Britain that is one of the firmest advocates for free trade anywhere in the world. We cannot initiate or conclude negotiations on trade agreements while we remain a member of the EU. We are considering our future trading relationships with all our partners as we prepare to leave the EU. Ministers and officials in the Department for International Trade are working closely with counterparts across a wide range of markets in order to promote the UK as a great place to do business and with which to trade.
