HM Treasury written question – answered at on 27 April 2017.
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what plans he has to regulate insurance premiums to protect the no-claims bonus for people who make a claim for no fault of their own.
The Government is determined that insurers should treat customers fairly and firms are required to do so under the current regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority.
The Government keeps all policy under review and it will be for any new Government to set the direction of future policy on insurance premiums.
