To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many (a) police officers and (b) policing staff were employed in each force in England and Wales in each year since 2010.

The Home Office collects and publishes data biannually on the number of police officers and police staff employed by each police force. These data can be found in the ‘Police Workforce, England and Wales’ statistical bulletins.
