To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, whether all complaints made to ACAS about non-payment of the national minimum wage and national living wage are passed on to HM Revenue and Customs.

Acas Helpline advisers have a commitment to refer all complaints about non-payment of the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage are passed on to HM Revenue and Customs. In some circumstances, for example a case with multiple employment issues, a worker may request that enforcement is pursued through the civil courts or an Employment Tribunal.
